A Look At Ceramic Teaware Through The Ages" by Marcia Selsor,
M.F.A. Professor Emerita from Montana State University. Free admission.
July 12, 2007: Public presentation and lecture given by
photographer Fred Ragland on his exhibition The Splendor of Eastern
Europe. Thursday, July 12 at 4:00 pm. Free admission.
Mar 9, 2007: BMFA Brown Bag Luncheon Lecture Series for
March presents Marcia Selsor, ceramics artist. Ms. Selsor will be
giving a presentation on the History of Islamic Tile design from
Central Asia to Spain. Admission to the lecture is FREE to the public.
Lecture will take place at the museum (660 E. Ringgold St) at 12:00
noon so bring your lunch! Selsor has pieces in public and private
collections on three continents and works in a variety of ceramics
techniques. She has also written numerous articles for Ceramics
Monthly, Pottery Making Illustrated, BAR (British Archaeological
Reports) and NCECA Journals.
Feb 23, 2007: BMFA Brown Bag Luncheon Lecture Series for
February brings to you Eugene and Teresa Allen, professional photographers,
this time talking about Artistic Photography Enhancement. This is
a complement to the Allensl lecture on Digital Artistic Photography
held on December. Admission to the lecture is FREE to the public.
Lecture will take place at the museum (660 E. Ringgold St) at 12:00

Feb 8, 2007: 6 pm; Artist Mick Reber will give a lecture
at the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art. The lecture will include
a presentation of the PBS Documentary Mick Reber, Wild Bill
and the artist will hold a question & answer session on the
documentary and the current BMFA exhibition Mick Reber: Both
Sides. This is a perfect time to come and meet the artist!.

who will demonstrate the art of casting jewelry forms in pewter
using simple plaster of Paris molds. Admission to the lecture is
