Sept 15 - 23: Register now for a 2-weekend Pottery &
Raku Workshop. Sept 15-16: Make a tea bowl, masks, plaques, wall
pieces, vessels, and possible use of the potters wheel. Sept 22-23:
Glaze and fire the pieces using a Horse Hair firing and Raku techniques.

Aug 19: Sunday; 9 am – 4 pm: “Introduction to Digital Photography
and Painting with Photoshop” with photographer Eugene Allen. Receive
practical pointers on how to select a digital camera and what equipment
you should consider. Learn 25 tips to better understand digital
camera functions and limitations. Get cost savings ideas on how
to take good pictures and use your images to match your interests
and pocketbook. You will also be afforded a demonstration of Photoshop
basics looking at an array of creative enhancement features you
might try in creating your own dramatic prints and images. Students
are encouraged to bring their digital cameras to practice techniques
taught during the class. Fees: $85 members; $95 non-members. Limited
