March 25 - 28, 2008: Watercolor workshop with Anita Diebel. Five-day workshop, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. Seating is limited to 15 students. Fees: $250 for BMFA members; $280 for non-members. Sept 15 - 23: Register now for a 2-weekend Pottery & Raku Workshop. Sept 15-16: Make a tea bowl, masks, plaques, wall pieces, vessels, and possible use of the potters wheel. Aug 19: Sunday; 9 am – 4 pm: “Introduction to Digital Photography and Painting with Photoshop” with photographer Eugene Allen. Receive practical pointers on how to select a digital camera and what equipment you should consider. Learn 25 tips to better understand digital camera functions and limitations. Get cost savings ideas on how to take good pictures and use your images to match your interests and pocketbook. You will also be afforded a demonstration of Photoshop basics looking at an array of creative enhancement features you might try in creating your own dramatic prints and images. Students are encouraged to bring their digital cameras to practice techniques taught during the class. Fees: $85 members; $95 non-members. Limited seating. Credit cards accepted. View poster here! Papermaking
Making handmade paper for use in bookmaking and art projects
Instructor: Kistie Beckwith.

Jan 15 - Jan 19: Experimental Art with Acrylics and Mixed Media Workshop with Artist Marilyn Brown. 9:30 am - 4:00 pm; $225 for members, $250 for non-members. Workshop will be held at the Education Annex (230 Neale Dr). All supplies for the workshop will be provided.

Feb 12 - Feb 16: Pastel Workshop with Artist Terry Smith. 9:30 am - 4:00 pm; $225 for members, $250 for non-members. Workshop will be held at the Museum (660 E. Ringgold St.).
